The CERAMIC UPDATE

Written by

“The recent evolution in ceramic and CAD/CAM technologies is breathtaking, but leaves many open questions in restorative and implant dentistry,” says Dr Markus B.

Blatz, who will be giving a lecture at the BACD Annual Conference entitled The CERAMIC UPDATE. “Questions like: What are the best treatment options and ceramics for our patients? What is the difference between silica-based, high-strength, and hybrid ceramic materials from an aesthetic, functional, and biologic standpoint? Is all zirconia the same?

Throughout his presentation, Dr Blatz will endeavour to answer these and other questions, in order to cast aside the misinformation surrounding these topics. He will also be discussing with delegates the ins and outs of aesthetic, less invasive and long-term function treatment options; this, he says, will range from conservative veneers to implant-supported full-mouth rehabilitations, providing delegates with an eclectic variety of information and advice.

There can be no doubt that The CERAMIC UPDATE will epitomise the Academy’s dedication to providing exemplary education to UK dental professionals. To be sure you do not miss this fantastic lecture, save the dates for the BACD Annual Conference in your diary today!
